Pastemin Terms of Use
Pastemin is a macOS clipboard history app published by Ilia Ross ("we"). By installing or using the App Store version of Pastemin you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs every app distributed through the App Store. Where the two differ, Apple's agreement prevails for matters it covers.
The trial and the free app
The 30-day trial begins after you accept its notice at first launch and includes full access to your clipboard history. No subscription starts and nothing is charged. After the trial, Pastemin keeps monitoring the clipboard, and the panel shows and searches the five newest items. Older items remain on your Mac and become visible again when Pro access is restored. Nothing is uploaded, moved, or deleted by the limit.
Pastemin Pro
Pastemin Pro restores access to the complete history. It is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase in two forms:
- Yearly subscription. Billed to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically each year at the price shown at purchase unless you cancel it in your App Store settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Lifetime unlock. A one-time purchase that keeps Pro for the life of the app on the App Store.
Both can be shared with your family through Family Sharing where it is enabled. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency before you buy. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple Media Services Terms; we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Acceptable use
Use Pastemin lawfully and only with content you are entitled to keep. Do not attempt to circumvent purchases or reverse engineer the app beyond what the law allows.
Source code
Pastemin's source is published on GitHub under the PolyForm Strict License 1.0.0 with added permissions for personal modification and contributions. You may read and inspect it, and prepare a contribution to the official repository under its contribution terms. The license does not otherwise permit distributing the source, modified copies, or binaries. The Min Tools name, the Pastemin name, and the Pastemin icon are not licensed with the source.
Warranty and liability
Pastemin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of clipboard content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Material changes to Pastemin Pro are announced in the app before they take effect.
