Min Tools is a collection of small apps built around privacy, each at home where it runs. Every one does a single job, talks only to the services you choose, and publishes its source on GitHub so you can see for yourself. No Min Tools accounts, analytics, or servers.
Free to try. The Mac apps need macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon; Pastemin, Netmin, and Keymin are on the Mac App Store, with Langmin and Agemin coming. Paletmin is on the Chrome Web Store and Mozilla Add-ons, for Chrome 118 or Firefox 140 and later.

Your language assistant for the whole Mac.
Proofread, rewrite, explain, summarize, translate, or look a word up, from a shortcut in any app or from Langmin's own window. Transcribe audio, extract text from documents and images, and remove unwanted invisible characters used as text watermarks. Apple Intelligence on device, or your own API key straight to the provider.
Your clipboard, ready when you need it.
Keep a searchable history of the text and images you copy. Press a shortcut in any app, type a word, and press Return to put the item back on the clipboard. Items marked concealed or temporary are skipped. You choose how long to keep the history, which stays on your Mac.
Network answers without the terminal.
Inspect DNS, routing, local devices, mail, TLS, websites, and ports from one native app. Eighty-four tools with a readable overview beside the raw output, fixed command templates, per-tool time limits, and no Homebrew or extra runtimes to install.
Hotkeys for skhd, without the syntax.
Edit the configuration of the skhd hotkey daemon in a native Mac app. Record a shortcut, pick the key and modifiers, write the command or set per-app commands, and Keymin writes the file back in skhd's own syntax. Comments and untouched lines stay as they were, and Keymin never runs the commands it edits.
Encrypt with age, without the terminal.
Encrypt files for the SSH and age keys of the people who should open them, or with a passphrase, and decrypt what they send you with your own keys. Agemin reads and writes the standard age format itself, in a sandboxed Mac app with no age tool, no account, and no network entitlement.
Light or dark, one tab at a time.
An extension for Chrome and Firefox that switches the website in the current tab between its light and dark palette with one click. The site applies the design it already has, each tab keeps its own mode, and the toolbar icon shows which. No popup, no settings, no data collection, and no network requests.

Every app shown here publishes its complete source on GitHub. What each one sends, stores, and runs is there to read.
Each repository holds the app, its tests, its privacy policy, and, for the Mac apps, its translations.
The Mac apps use PolyForm Strict 1.0.0 with added permissions: read and inspect the code, and prepare contributions to the official repository. It is source available rather than open source; redistribution is not permitted, and the names and icons stay ours. Paletmin is open source under the MIT license.
Bug reports, translations, reviews, and focused changes all help, under the contribution terms published in each repository.
No tracking
These apps keep their data on your device and send no usage data to Min Tools. Network requests depend on the features you use: AI providers, websites, network checks, optional iCloud sync, and Apple purchases. Keymin and Agemin have no network entitlement, and Paletmin makes no requests at all.
Each Mac app keeps its data in its own container; Keymin also edits the configuration file you choose, and Agemin reads the key folders you choose and writes only where you save. Paletmin keeps its two small settings inside the browser. Langmin stores API keys separately in Keychain and can sync your Library through iCloud if you enable it.
Langmin connects to the providers and websites you use. Netmin contacts the systems needed for each check. Pastemin never uploads clipboard history, Keymin and Agemin have no network entitlement, and Paletmin makes no network requests at all.
Each has its own privacy policy. This site generates its privacy pages from those policies and checks that the text matches.
The Mac apps include a 30-day trial, and Pro is bought through the App Store; Apple never shares your payment details with us. Paletmin has nothing to buy.
How they are built
The Mac apps use AppKit and SwiftUI on Apple silicon and follow your Mac's appearance, contrast, accent, and reduced-motion settings. Paletmin is plain JavaScript inside Chrome or Firefox, with an icon drawn for their light and dark toolbars.
The Mac apps run in the App Sandbox with Hardened Runtime and need no administrator access. Pastemin's direct builds can request Accessibility access for optional automatic paste; its App Store edition uses manual paste. Keymin edits the file you choose; Agemin reads the key folders you choose. Paletmin runs inside the browser with only the permissions it needs.
Use keyboard shortcuts for common actions. Langmin and Pastemin open from other apps; Netmin lets you find tools and run checks from the keyboard; Keymin records a shortcut as you press it; Agemin encrypts with one key press; Paletmin takes a browser shortcut.
Langmin, Pastemin, Netmin, and Agemin are available in more than twenty-five languages and follow your Mac's language settings. Keymin starts in English. Translations are welcome as contributions.
The Mac apps start with 30 days of full access, without starting a subscription. A free tier remains afterward. Pro is a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, with Family Sharing where enabled. Paletmin is free.
Langmin, Pastemin, Netmin, Keymin, and Agemin currently require an Apple-silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later. To run the hotkeys you edit in Keymin, install skhd or skhd.zig. Paletmin needs Chrome 118 or Firefox 140 or later on a desktop system. Each product page lists its current requirements.
No developer runtimes or companion apps are needed. The Mac apps include their own helpers; some Apple features may download on-device models. Keymin is the one exception by design: it edits the configuration of skhd, which you install yourself. Agemin implements the age format itself, so the age tool is not needed. Paletmin is a single extension.

Visit each app's repository for progress and launch updates. You can report problems, improve translations, review code, or contribute a change.
Or suggest an improvement in the app's repository. Say what happened and what you expected, and leave out private text, clipboard content, addresses, and keys.
